I have been helping organizations organize and analyze their data for over a decade. In that time, I’ve designed custom solutions for government, healthcare, and other industries using Apache Hadoop, Talend, and R. In addition to standard machine learning algorithms, I’ve developed custom analytics using Monte Carlo simulation, neural nets, and multi-valanced (“fuzzy”) logic to help organizations deliver the best value to their stakeholders.
Prior to founding Synchronic Analytics, I worked at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and was a PhD candidate at Indiana University. My dissertation on evolutionary game theory was funded by the National Science Foundation and supervised by Dr. Elinor Ostrom, the 2009 Nobel Laureate in Economics; a selection was later published in Moral Markets: The Critical Role of Values in the Economy (Princeton University Press, 2008).
